If your having problems with NAT Type 3 then read below!

PS3 XMB: Settings -> Network Settings -> Then Create a Conncection When it asks for Easy Or Custom enter custom and make any IP address up make sure no other device has the same IP address type something like XXX.XXX.XXX.87 (X Stands for The main IP Address Example (192.168.3.X)

No Open up your default gateway you can find this out by doing this

PC Desktop:

Start -> Run -> cmd (A Black Box Should Appear)

Type in ipconfig and look for default gatway and type that in the Web address bar, this should propmt for a password verification the username and password should be with the installation tutorial you recieved with the wireless router, some users might not encounter this.

Look for a option that says vitual server or port fowarding click on that and enter these properties:

A)

1. TCP_PS3_80 (name or similar to this)
2. 80 - 80 (inbound or something like this)
3. TCP (Type or something like this)
4. PS3 IP address (Private Ip address or something like this)
5. If asked for private port enter same values as inbound port or something like this.

B)

1. TCP_PS3_443 (name or similar to this)
2. 443 - 443 (inbound or something like this)
3. TCP (Type or something like this)
4. PS3 IP address (Private Ip address or something like this)
5. If asked for private port enter same values as inbound port or something like this.

C)

1. TCP_PS3_5223 (name or similar to this)
2. 5223 - 5223 (inbound or something like this)
3. TCP (Type or something like this)
4. PS3 IP address (Private Ip address or something like this)
5. If asked for private port enter same values as inbound port or something like this.

D)

1. UDP_PS3_3478-9 (name or similar to this)
2. 3478 - 3479 (inbound or something like this)
3. UDP (Type or something like this)
4. PS3 IP address (Private Ip address or something like this)
5. If asked for private port enter same values as inbound port or something like this.

E)

1. UDP_PS3_3658 (name or similar to this)
2. 3658 - 3658 (inbound or something like this)
3. UDP (Type or something like this)
4. PS3 IP address (Private Ip address or something like this)
5. If asked for private port enter same values as inbound port or something like this.

Now Test Your Internet Connection and The final Result should be NAT TYPE 2 or even 1. If it still occurs as Nat Type 3 open up default gateway and look for DMZ, and where you enter a IP address enter the PS3 IP Address.
