It did not work for me.. now I'm stuck in service mode without visibility on my screen..

I think its because I've downloaded the wrong modified 3.41 pup because the modified pup was only 10mb. Now I've downloaded the correct one.. (DGF)

I'll try again after work.. but right now my ps3 non functional...

Question: Is it necesary for me to do step 6 if I'm already on 3.41??

I don't think it is neccesary, but just a precautionI installed the retail 3.41 ontop of the modded 3.41 just incase it would cauase any errors while installing Rebug.

If you're stuck in service mode your PS3 should still power up and you will see the big red box saying "Factory/Service Mode" on the XMB. Download the correct DGF pack and retry with the corrct update.pup & LV2Diag.self

When I came home I downloaded the right DGF pack, and flashed the modded FW. well to keep a long story short... I'm on rebug 1.0.1

So I'm back in business.. Right now I'm at school and when i get home I'll try to see what the benefits are of the debug settings..

Its a bit of a fulltime job keeping track and up to date with everything that's going off with the PS3.
