my new lens has arrived for v12

hello , my new pvr 802w has arrived . but , i don't know what to desolder . can anyone provide a diagram, showing me what to do and what adjustments to make to make it work. also , i noticed a d2 stamped on the new lens and my v12 is stamped d4. is this going to be a problem? it seems my new lens is older than my old lens. thank you for any info you can give.

Not sure how much it will help, but attached below are two pics... one displays the place you need to desolder (ESD Protect) to give you an idea of what it looks like, and the other compares the 802W to the 430 laser version.

    PS2 Slim 802w laser to khm430

I have a slim ps2 with a 802w aka khs-430 laser. I want to change the laser to a KHM-430 is it true the KHM-430 is better if so why? and is it true the system can accept the new laser with no bios alteration?

Yep... as shown in the pic I attached above, the 430 is deemed 'superior' to the 802W.
