    Wow dude those pics look so awesome. Did that one pics say the read rate a Blue Ray Disc? Isn't that kind of slow?

    Yes seen some of those optical drives already HitCon aren`t they awesome as long as they make them reasonable in price which would be nice,but new technology you never know what the price is going to be until they just get to the retailers.

    awesome indeed, I think the first batch would be expensive, if so I'll wait for the prices to go down, or at least until the security is defeated. hehe

    Its not that slow... 2x for a blu-ray drive is writing data at 9 megabytes a second. Sure it will take 46.3 min for each single layre disk and almost an hour and a half for the full disks at that speed but its 25GB your talking about here. Its not much slower, if any slower then the DVD (in proportion of course were talking about a disk roughly 5 times bigger then DVD5). The first models will be slower then desirable but the price tag should keep all but the hardcore away for a while and by then they should be plenty fast.

    how does blu ray disc look like? any different than a regular dvd?
