* Compatibility fixes for playing games from the HDD. Games such as AFL Premier 2005 are now supported.
* Various GUI fixes/improvements.
Update #2:Team Toxic have now released the much-anticipated [Register or Login to view links] for DMS4 Pro owners! The complete manual is included detailing all of the new features, usage, and technical documentation. Definitely a nice way to wrap up 2005 from Team Toxic!
Update:Team Toxic have now released the long-awaited [Register or Login to view links] for the DMS4 Line of PS2 Mod-Chips. They have also commented on the v0.4 TOXiC OS delay as follows: "We would like to apologise for the delay with the release of TOXiC OS v0.4. Work on the release was suspended for personal reasons, however now we have now resumed develoment and the release should follow shortly. Unfortunately the integrated FTP server will not be included with the v0.4 release due to stability issues, but we hope to have this worked out for the following release. Hopefully our integrated cheat device will make up for it "
Changes since the last BiOS release include adding DMS4 S.E. and V14 PSTwo console support, significantly improved stability, fixed problems booting some games from the browser with DVD+DL patching enabled, and fixed problems playing some DVD movies from recordable media. Cool stuff!
Team Toxic have released some screenshots of their upcoming third-party flash software for the DMS4 Pro series of PS2 Chips today. The released pictures show off all the main aspects of the navigation menus including: Main Menu, Games List, Apps List, Browser 1, Browser 2, Cheats 1, Cheats 2, and Settings. Development of this release is taking a bit longer than expected, but they are making great progress and confident of a release sometime soon. They are working very hard on making the FTP server even more stable (one of the reasons for the delay), but if this causes too much lag time then they will release the more stable FTP server as an add-on in the future. Feel free to discuss the news further in our PS2 HDD Chat Forum and enjoy!
