the only thing left out on REBUG's useful features to be are:

    - Disable HDCP
    - Turn off NPDRM completely

Although, Im not sure about this but "if" we able to install this debug CFW on our retail PS3's, there's a chance that we can also install latest debug CFW. Though im not really sure about this.

I guess the next step is going to be, flashing patched CORE OS dump made by using ProgSkeet or Tensy++ programmers, into the PS3 and booting DEBUG CFW on PS3 without any dongles.

thanks for that but that video is the prog skeet downgrade, nothing to do with putting debug fw on a retail console!!

It allows to boot Debug up to 3.41 or 3.66 and newest too?

    Don't forget us Infectus owners!

mnali - WHERE did you see ANYTHING AT ALL in this topic mentioning 3.6/3.7 custom firmware? After you just sat and read the very first post, you still decided to ask 'just in case'? NO CFW FOR 3.6/3.7 YET!

    Question

anyone knows if port 1000 is open for debugging?

would be cool if they could apply the patches to 3.55

I don't think, also because Cyberskunk said "before everyone gets excited being able to boot the DEX COREOS and getting all of its functions up and running without rehashing (converting) your console are two completely different problems".

However we'll see soon if big news coming.
