I remember there being an option to stop game updates for the Settings menu, anyways you can change the version in the Param.sfo from 1.00 to something like 9.90 so it won't ask you to update again.
To change the version in the Param.sfo you'll need an SFO editor (attached below). Open up the Param.sfo using the SFO editor and change "App. version" to whatever number you want.
Actually as someone mentioned above the one and all easy "fix" is to disable internet connection. If you disable it all together, all games will not ask you anymore, because it can't get the db info online to determine whether there are new update for any game.
Since I am assuming you are in one of the cfw to play this, you won't be having psn anytime soon, and I guess you won't use it to browse the net (yea, we got better browser/computer to do that), so it's really no point to enable internet. (well, unless you use streaming from your pc to watch video...)
If it's not too much hassle, just disable it before you play any games, and enable it back when you are out, so you can do other "things" with the internet connection. That's what I do.
Just finishing dl the UC3 Ripped and wanna know if i did this right on my 1st try.
I extract the fresh DUPLEX UC3 rip into the C:\Drive and put .bat & everything else went automatic, after the patching, the fix prompted me to delete the 3 backups, so i did, was that ok ? I even deleted the EBOOT backup since the patched EBOOT was already there and i split the 8GB file into smaller ones since i'm gonna play this on internal, anyways i still have another copy of the fresh rip from another folder if i did something wrong.
So that's everything to this fix right?, I can later transfer the files from C:drive to Internal HDD thru FTP and it can play like normally ?
Thanks for all the tips about stopping the game updates. I'll just cut the internet for a while to stop all at once.
Another thing; at the start of chapter 10, is elena not supposed to open the gate at the bottom of the stairs?? Right before i got here the game also failed to load the movie at the end of chapter 9. So now I'm stuck at the gate in chapter 10, anybody else have this?? Bad rip maybe?
