Hey! Plz qa-flag your system on CFW 3.55!!! Trust me, I have got NO hardwareflasher, and I went through serveral FWs including DEX and 4.+CEX-CFWs without any bricks Onced qa-flagged, you remain qa-flagged and everytime you go to a 3.55FW you can proove it with the button combo.

My second advise to you is: update via recovery - no matter what. In recovery there is no FW-ver-Spoof, so it is a lot safer...

P.S.: Kmeaw has got original 3.55 sys-con, so you can dehash with kmeaw (no ofw needed).

Downgrade example:
1) you are on CEX-CFW-4.xx
2) Update/install: 4.25to3.55.PUP [You r now on hybrid-FW]
3) Check if you r still qa flagged: (use button combo)
4) Update/install: RogeroV3.7-CFW-3.55 [You r now on 3.55, but NOT dehashed]
5) Update/install: Kmeaw [Dehashed: you are now on 3.55 with original sys-con]

I like the flow chart, but I would modify something:

a) Down 4.25 to 3.55 [hybrid 4.xx / 3.55]
a-1) Check toggle-qa: Button combo
b) RogeroV3.7 [FW-ver 3.55]
c) Kmeaw [dehashed]

And since kmeaw has got original sys-con and since its not about 3.55CFWs, I would remove kmeaw's position in flow chart and put it on top & bottom next to OFW: So first and last step would be: OFW 3.55 / Kmeaw

So i'm on 3.55 Kmeaw can i just upgrade straight to Rogero 4.21 or 4.30 yes? Will i Qa flag first?

I'm not quite sure whats involved with qa flagging or whats it for but will check up on it.

Yes, plz do yourself a favor and qa-toggle on kmeaw first. (its only good for you) Then update straight to CFW4.xx through recovery-mode (safety first ).

If you are familiar with kmeaw i would suggest to NOT use the 4.30 v2.00 of Rogero, because you dont have the regular "install packages" anymore.

Thanks for the reply Blade, does the Rogero 4.30 have the install packages in the different location or something? I'm use to the kneaw 3.55 so would 4.21 be better in my case? I mainly want to play backup's and newer games backed up.

I'd also like to know why should i qa flag? save me searching another thread Is it just to let you use developer functions, restore 3.55 without spoofing or something? Thanks for your help.

be careful as some of the links above are only showing 32-36mb make sure is 191mb just noticed files were too small when downloaded
