Rogero CEX PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW) v4.21 is Now Released!

i'd like to know this as well i have rogero 4.21v 1 can i just go straight to this from xmb do i have to update via recovery or again downgrade to 3.55 then update via xmb to this great question. hope someone lets us know

it would be nice if it said in the description if this can be installed over the other rogero 4.30 or if the dumb downgrade rehash is needed...

ROGERO cfw 4.30 v1.02 all video playback from the xmb is broken both streaming and direct play it locks up the console forcing a hard power down. I would wait it might be the CINAVIA PATCH.

I think Bluray answered this a couple pages back... if your on the same version fw then a straight update is fine... if you are changing fw versions, ie, in your case 4.21 --> 4.30 then its highly recommended you downgrade 1st.

But I do agree, perhaps Rogero should make this clear as he is releasing new updates regularly.

just update my ps3 to rogero 4.30 v1 and just want to ask if i can directly update this to rogero 4.30 v1.02 without going back to 3.55.

you probably can, but i wouldnt, probably safer to downgrade back to 3.55 and then go from there. after dehash toggle Qa etc but i could be wrong, nah sorry it was just me being silly, since you keep horses in stables.

i'd go with either the most recent rogero 4.30v1.09, or rebug4.25 rex personally.

rogero if you just want games, and rebug if you want a few more toys.
