Rogero CEX PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW) v4.21 is Now Released!

Hey guys...

I have few questions. I hope you can help me. I have a ps3 slim with ofw 4.21. can i downgrade the PS3 without hardware flash? And than which cfw can i use on the PS3.

is PSN still working on 4.30 CFW...???

i installed 4.30 CFW (clean from recovery) yesterday... it asked me to download some psn software update first (my guess is it was the recent changes they made to the interface) now it says error accessing psn network (not the exact message)... please press ps button to quit...

is it just me???

and will the REBUG team can make a 4.30 CFW also just in case??...

Apparently rebug is working on something new, but for now there is no more information. Read this thread and I'm sure you'll find the info you need to install rogero's cfw.

No ofw 4.30 is not needed. Patched games should play fine on newest CFW, what would not work is homebrew and psn games that used reactpsn I think.

dont go near ofw 4.30 from cfw 3.55 if its kmeaw you can update straight to rogero cfw 4.30. follow the instructions in the rogero download or on the download page. if you use ofw 4.30 your ps3 is no longer jailbroken or possible to jailbreak without hardware flasher.

as for the 3.55 games with fixes, delete the gamedata not the savegame, and reinstall the game from backup and it should play fine

ah oki thx for the information guys ^^, but looks like i have to stay first at 3.55 because there are some DLC which i used the ReAct PSN will not work, i dont know if this affect for the other DLC in some games or my Dreamy Theater Project Diva... >.<

next step, i'd like to run "Toggle QA" -> anyone can explain what is this ?

installed fine, but when i ran it on 3.55Kmeaw, it didn't do anything (black screen, i waited for 2-5 minutes but nothing happen)

do i need to "Toggle QA" right now ?
