Just to let you all know, I've successfully updated to Rogero 4.21/4.25 spoofed cfw no problem. And most importantly , downgraded back to 3.55 and back up to Rogero 4.21 without a hitch, Follow what has been stated here and I don't see why it wouldn't work for you. What I did was:
1: use my original hdd my ps3 came with
2: format it
3: Run rebug QA Flag
4: Condor updater , Insert ofw 3.55 in USB , Update to ofw 3.55
5: Turn off PS3
6: Hold down power button on PS3 and boot into recovery mode
6: Insert Rogero 4.21 cfw and update
7: Finish and play borderlands 2 lol

I installed the Rogero CEX PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW) v4.21, and multiman was not loading so I tried to return to 3.55 with the update provided and it did return to 3.55 but now I cannot install any update of any kind, it says that the data is corrupted and it gets and error every time I try. what should I do to be able to update again?
Thanks Rogero! Works like a charm on my CECH-20048. Enabled the QA Fag, flashed OFW 3.55 over Dongle V2 and then flashed Rogero 4.21!! On a side note, mine isn't a downgraded PS3.

What did you do ? You updated to Rogero 4.21 ? And run multiman , Then decided to go back to 3.55 ?

Correct , a you'll need to be downgraded , If possible to get this firmware working
