Hesitating to test it on my slim until I get a response about my post... OFW 4.30 reads it just fine, but I dont want to install without someones professional opinion.

don't. we don't have a downgrader for anything not on ofw or above 3.55. it'll probably read fw 2.7 but not install it.

this is about a cfw, not an official software downgrader for any ofw.

You can't install it on any OFW above 3.55.

just use my torrent and select only the 4.21 and place it where your file is so it just uploads. i've already got like 3 or 4 people trying to download from me. i need like one or two more seeders at least for this thing to start to be worth it.

I think the instructions are quite clear:

From XMB install ’999′ DOWNGRADER over any firmware version CFW/MFW with spkg sig check patched on a PS3 with or without QA enabled.

So no, it won't work on OFW...

I just downgraded from rogeros 4.30 to 3.55 using 4.25to3.55 pup, then flashed kmeaw and finally rebugs 4.21. All from recovery menu, with QAflag enabled. No problem at all.

people need to read more than the first line. every 4.21 cfw has had a downgrader, this one is no different. i mean, it says 999 downgrader... that should hint at its function.
