Hi, i asked this question about a month ago, and got my response, now, one month later, wanted to know current ps3 scene status. Can any of these new CFWs be installed directly onto a ps3 with official FW 4.21/4.25/4.30.
What is this 999 downgrader i'm reading about? i can't find the info i need about this thing. Can it be used to downgrade 4.21 to 3.55 without a flasher?
Nope ... At this moment, there is no way to install any CFW over an OFW beyond 3.55 ... You have to be patient and wait (as many of us) for a way to do this.
No. You CANNOT install 4.21/4.25/4.30 CFW on anything except 3.55 OFW/CFW. The downgrader PUP that you are talking about I don't recall if its Rogero's or Rebugs, but it can only be used with their respective CFW.
Sorry its not what you want to hear, but be patient, (without updating your PS3!), and hopefully soon there will be a solution for you.

So... I am a little stupid so take this into account. If you have Black Ops 2, you install this DLC and then you can enjoy the ENTIRE game on 3.55? Please confirm.
