Maybe wrong thread but does someone know how the new fixed patches, like the one for Batman Arkam City or other 3.6 Games work?

Does they modify the EBOOT in the game folder, or are they really just patches? What is fixed at these patches? Many questions but maybe someone can answer them cause i fixed my ps3 just yesterday and seems i missed alot in the past 2 weeks

some you replace the eboot and param.sfo files and some you do not have to just put pkg onto a flash stick and install package then run game with mm

No vikingo because MW3 need 3.72FW.. But why you don't download the US version? and kill this solution + (You can find only BLES01433 Fix but this's Russian Version) & the only US version run without black screen is this: Call.of.Duty.Modern.Warfare.3.PROPER.PS3-DUPLEX search Torrent in the web. You can try changing the game code in the Param.sfo file from the PAL version to the US version, and then install the fix. That probably will work, but there is a chance it won't.

is there anyway to download a retail patch for a game (using the downloader), change the game id on it then instal it to ps3 that's retail, not jb? how would you install it? via usb?
