Is it just me or does Army of Two 3 after playing for a bit on cfw 3.55 (maybe 30 minutes or so) sometimes the ps3 will shut it self off. Is it because it's overheating? Or maybe a defective patch? I've even tried tried installing the game on the internal ps3 hdd. Just wondering if anyone is also running into this problem.
i have the same problem as you say,but with different games, and i know it is not overheating cause in multiman it says that the temperature Is below 55c on RSX and CPU is 50c and i have a fan controller... btw my PS3 is 60GB model
Why stay on 3.55 any longer? Upgrade to 4.30, takes 5 minutes and no need for any further fixes, it's even possible to go back to 3.55 if you ever wanted to for any reason.

No problem over here.. Manage to play the games 1hrs without any glitch.. So far so good... Not a bad game but easily DIE
Like said if upgrade to 4.30 and take 5minutes only.... What happen to all my old games ?
Does the old games need any patches to 4.30 or just left it like that ?

I updated about a week or so ago, & so far, all my normal games bar one have worked, but that was easily sorted by updating it, a few PSN titles didn't work, but re-downloading them and not applying the 3.55 fix has sorted them out too except one, which used an edat fix instead.
I'd highly advise upgrading, so you can play all the new games like BioShock Infinite, who knows when 3.55 fixes will stop coming.
I had too many problems with 4.30CFW so I stayed on 4.21.* REX and its great. Its as good as 3.55 but games work.
Bioshock Infinite is a 4.31 game but it also has an 1.01 update which is 4.20 so it should work in 4.21 REX.
If you dont have a reason to update then BI should give you one. You can always downgrade back to 3.55 if you want and its really easy. I went from 3.55 to 4.30 to 3.55 to 4.21 in about 30 mins all up and that was even time testing a few games.
Yea, a few homebrew needed patching, a few games needed the patches removed and the original files put back but its worth it. All new games work with minimal effort. If it doesn't work original just use the 0-day update and that usually fixes it. If not its a simple patch but so far I have 100% of the games working like that.
BTW, Bioshock Infinite works nicely on 4.21REX with the 1.01 update without any patches. It also works discless and on the Vita with Remote Play.
