If you check your temp dir you will see that Magic PKG uses deank's ebootmod and a few other tools. Still its a great GUI to do everything with the one program.

When you make the PKG with method 3 it says it decrypts all the sprx's. Is it actually helping or not? Maybe that might help get other games working?

SPRX is a library, and SELF is executable. Haven't looked at those sprx files yet.

Edit: .sys_proc_param can't be found in Portal 2 eboot (or I'm looking bad?). It's okay, since IIRC not every game has it.

Same group so not strange really hehe, just another name they release under... they have several for different things based on what the release is. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a MUPS release eventually (which is near the bottom of the Paradox barrel

)

My guess is they wanted the initial releases to be under the PDX label, and now they are branching out to distance themselves and keep any haters (or feds) away from Paradox.

From eXcaliber: Seems they skipped the added files (guess we don't need them after all) and the param.sfo (I guess we could change ourselves). At least we know you just have to plug in the changed files and it should work.
