GT5 PS3 Game Updates on Kmeaw CFW

i think i know the answer but wanted to confirm. phat 80 gig ps3. running CFW kmeaw 3.5 with gaia, playing gt5 discless from internal hdd.. my question is on game updates.

i know gt 5 has 8 updates. 5 for OFW 3.5 and 3 for OFW 3.6

1) do i need to install each update in sequential order to update to the current version of the game?

2) can i install the 3 patches that were made for 3.6? will this update my console FW to at 3.6 or later? loosing my CFW?

1. No, update with any patch you like.
2. If the patch is 3.60+ it will stop the game from working. It won't update your PS3 though.

so if my gt 5 is still on 1.0 , i can apply the 1.09 patch (last patch for 3.5 OFW) without having to apply 1.05 / 1.06 / 1.07 / and 1.08, prior to 1.09?
