Natpig, no it doesn't lunch discless, you need a Bluray to get the game starting it's working in external or internal HDD, it install game data at the begining. Hope this will help you.

Hope too that team duplex make a fix for FIFA 12 & Tintin, games that are on the PS Store... thanks to them.
