Trouble with disc id utility

I have put the disc id utility on a cd-r just like the tutorial says, but when I go to load in with the swap magic cd disk, it doesnt do anything. After i swap the cdr swap magic with the disk id utility cdr and press x it gets a little pink line at the top as if it was doing something but it never does. Could it be that I have older swap magic disks? And if I can't get that to work can someone tell me how to do it with the DVD disk id utility because I downloaded that one but I can't find an explanation for how to put that one onto a dvd for use. Thanks

The problem could be several things. Maybe your PS2 version doesn't like the Swap Magic CD version. Maybe your PS2 doesn't like the CD media you're using. Who knows?

Should just be able to extract the rebuilt.iso file out of the archive and burn it to a DVD±R with DVD Decrypter or Nero. The DVD version of the Disc ID Utility works fine, even on my v10, with Swap Magic 2.0.
