Star Ocean: Till the end of time

Anyone has problem backing up the above game? I have SM DVD 2.0 but it sometimes load to the menu screen and then blank, sometimes it will start the game but then will display "Reading disc" and then hangs.. I already burned using 2x. Try cdloader, cogswap and no help.

same here = works fine but has some slow load times when entering battles

Loading time isnt that slow barely noticable. Use maxell dvd+r media

A friend of mine is having some problem issues with this game and I would like to help him, but have some doubts, He said this:

"Hi, I'm playing Star Ocean 3 : Till the end of Time but, in the CD 2, right before Sphere Company (a dungeon), after saving and beating the boss I can't progress, as the game crashes when I enter a particular room (the one necessary to progress, so I'd bet it's on a cut scene). On chaging rooms, the games starts to kinda, fade out quicklly, but in THAT room, it crashes in the midle of the fading out."

I would like to know if rebuilding can help my friend, thanks in advance, sorry for the game details, as you might not understand, but help is greatly appreciated :smile2

Ok, I'm going to be honest, I love this game so much I wanna buy it. But in Portugal, the only place that sells it (not online) is a store and wants 60€ for the game :eek2 The game is almost 4 years old FFS! If any could tell me an reliable alternative and cheaper, I'd gladly buy it. Thks BTW
