How do I use GameShark for PlayStation?

Hi to all.

Just bought an old playstation (original) and it came with this GameShark cartridge. Unfortunately it didn't have a user manual with it and I'm not too sure how to use it. I assume I just plug it in at the back and turn it on? From what I can tell, there should be codes already setup on the cartridge, ready to use.

Anbody else still have one and remeber how to use it?

I feel your pain.

Post I feel your pain.

I remember the setup, I believe there's a disk that accompanied the whole package. You choose a code from the disk, or enter your own in the menus, and it's injected into the card. After that I guess it just shoves those codes into the game during play as if it were reading from a memory card, that card is just telling the game to make you invincible and set people on fire with your eyes.

if its the old psx with the back port then all you have to do is plug it in and flip a switch on it to turn it on or off if you have a newer psx without a back port the cdx version of gameshark is what you need it comes with a memory card like thing you plug in the memory card slot to work and yes they both come preloaded with codes hope this helps.
