Retrieving a game from a PS2 HDD?

Is this possible?

I have a couple of games I wasn't able to play due to the whole compatibility thing with running from the hard drive. I thought about it recently and wondered if I could get the games off the hard drive and back into an ISO format so I could burn them and play them via the swap method.

Any help is appreciated!

If it's an internal hdd try hdd handiness,

if you're using usb advance and have them on a usb drive i think there is a similar app to retrieve them.
