I've been searching the forums to see what the deal is with Manhunt. I have the iso and rebuilt it using isobuster and CD/DVD GEN but I can't get it to work. Is there some trick to this one like Bloodrayne 2? Thanks for the help! :grin:
Apart from the fact that it is a large toc game (4.7 gig if i recall Correctly) you may have to do a large toc swap to get it to work properly (I don't but some people do). There is really no special thing that needs to be done with manhunt, just rip and burn with dvd decrypter or whatever your fav proggie is. Mine works, it's on TDK media, I use SM 3.3 on a V5 Ps2. I burned mine with nero but used decrypter to get the iso. Maybe try new media.
same here doesn't work. doing rebulid of iso, size about 2,5gb+ booting with sm 3.3 on V4 PS2 and still nothing, black screen
EDIT: omg its works i burn the iso, these 4,7gb... and its works? its the first game that works on sm with no rebuliding i mean this games with large toc, nice one
Just to confirm that my NTSC version of Manhunt has the same issue of not working when rebuilt. I will now burn another copy of the original and will post results. I'm using Swap Magic 3.6.
just a special note of interest on troubled games i extracted the iso with dvddecrypter and then reburned the iso with dvddecrypter and then the games seem to run perfect had to do this with resident evil 4 or it wouldn't boot for me.
I managed to rip this but it wouldnt work properly with SM:Coder. It looked ok but wouldnt run properly. I then tried an official Sony Memory Card (I had been using a MAX MEMORY 16 MB) and that solved all the problems I had. This also happened with Black. Hope this helps.... yes I am a noob so sorry if I am teaching my grandma how to suck eggs.
