Extract all the files on a PS2 disc?
I was just wondering if there is any way to view all the files on a PS2 disc. The files, when I read them on my computer, only turn out to be 25mb or something like that. Where are the other 1.8 gigs of information.

have you tried apache 2 or 3? sometimes theres dummy files that in different programs will post diff sizes of the game.

I don't know what specific game you're looking at, but I'd venture to guess that the "missing files" you are curious about are actually slack space on the disc. Slack space is gaps of empty space in between the files on the disc, and it is used to push certain files toward the outside of the disc (and bloat the TOC size, as you've noticed).

Now, if you notice right there at the beginning of the disc, there's a gigantic jump between the \SLUS_208.98 file at LBA 643 and the \NTGUI.ELF file at LBA 1,347,191. DVDs use a file system that contains 2 KiB (2,048 bytes) in each sector (LBA). The \SLUS_208.98 file is only 194 KiB (198,212 bytes), so it only occupies 97 sectors.

What this means is the beginning of the disc is laid out in the following way: - \SYSTEM.CNF: LBA 642 (1 sector)
- \SLUS_208.98: LBA 643–739 (97 sectors)
- Slack Space: LBA 740–1,347,190 (1,346,451 sectors)
- \NTGUI.ELF: LBA 1,347,191–1,349,238 (2,048 sectors)
- \SWBFRONT.ELF: LBA 1,349,239–…
What the hell?!?! 1,346,451 empty, unused sectors?!?! And, since each sector holds 2 KiB (2,048 bytes), that is 2.57 GiB (2,757,531,648 bytes) of plain wasted space (  which happens to screw your backup over when you boot it with Swap Magic).
That is why we tend to rebuild games in these cases. We remove the slack space from the disc, reducing the TOC size from its original 4.37 GiB (4,697,260,032 bytes) to a rebuilt 1.83 GiB (1,960,706,048 bytes). This 1) allows the game to boot flawlessly as a direct swap from Swap Magic and 2) saves a good amount of space if you install this to your PS2 HDD for use with HDadvance.

How do you remove the Slack Space? I'm new to rebuilding and am trying to rebuild FIFA Street. Do I just change the LBA number to the next one after the file has ended?
Like in your example, you said:

Yes, this is correct. In fact, when you drag a file into Sony CD/DVD-ROM Generator, the file is placed in the next available LBA position by default. So all you have to do to rebuild games is drag the files into Sony CD/DVD-ROM Generator in the proper order. It will place the files together contiguously (without any slack space) for you.

If I remember correctly, FIFA Street will not work with a simple rebuild like this due to LBA checks in the game. (NBA Street V3 and NFL Street 2 work fine, but not FIFA Street.) Using an SMFix or a large TOC refresh is your best choice for this title. Check the FIFA Street 1:1 Forum thread for more details on this.

hmmm,interesting
anyone have any idea,how to rebuild charlie and the chocolate factory?
it has a "text" layout document, not sure if this is causing the rebuilded game not to work,but it dont work, thats for sure.. tried with both nero and cd/dvd gen.
