Quake 3 Revolution CD to DVD

Im having a problem converting Quake 3 revolution to dvd . The method i used:

1- using iso buster i extracted the iso
2- with dvd scan lite i scaned all the files of the game to dvd
3- burned using nero burning rom, udf/iso dvd and no multissession (the files in the same order as the iso)

The wierd thing is: the game boots, the Q3 logo appears, but the little loading bar under it dont. And the game locks.

There are some .IRX files in the /Modules past, but when i scan these with dvd scan lite, the program do not patch them in any way... (i think this could be the problem because the executables where been patched and the game boots)

Can anyone help?

you can test this method:

first take image and extract it.
then you create a master disk with cd-dvd generator (dvd master).
and burned with dvd decrypter.

If the exe file is sles_501.27 then I have found a media check that DVD scan doesn't find goto offset 2118192 decimal or 00205230 hex you will find this string 2D88 8000 change it to 0200 1124

I didn't see any check strings in the modules folder.

This method works:

1) First we have to download ISO buster
2) Click on LBA in right window.
3) Click on red square (ISO) in left window with right button of you mouse. There should appear Directory tree and file information/List tree-info (in Edit Window)/LBA, Relative Path" . Next save txt. file.

4) Mark all objects in ISO, and click on them right button of your mouse. We choose "extract objects"

5) Choose place where ISObuster copy all files from CD (if there are some errors - ignor them)

6) Next download APACHE2 programme
7) Open it and choose drive with game which we want to copy
8) We are looking for Create Filelist options (screen)

9) Mark all files. Click on ppm and choose extract. DONE

@ciopaka I don't understand steps 6 thru 9 could you clear this up a bit in more detail maybe some pics or something of apache screenshot.

Hello everyone !

Im very thankful for the replys, but i still stoped at the game logo, it justs appear the Q3 logo and the loadind bars wont appears (as in normal cd). As darthi8nt, i tried ciopaka method, but cant understand the steps from apache2.

My executable is PBPX_952.01

what i got from dvd scan is:

I have no idea how to do this works (maybe hidden dvd functions on the executable )

But i ill keep searching we ill be playing this soon without destroying our lasers !

It looks like there is a hidden movie file at lba position 31767 which is 773 sectors in size or 1,583,104 kb in size. This could be the source of the problem. Will have to study it more.
