Hmm I don't have any problems with my backups so this would have to be the first.
I'm using SM v. 2.0.
After burning SOCOM3 using RiDATA (Ritek) DVD+R DVD at 2.4x using dvd decryptor (my dvd writer won't write any slower) it boots up just fine but then the music at the main menu starts skipping. Also in the game the music skips and most sounds have a delayed playback effect. They play about 2 seconds after an event occurs.
I've never had any problems like this with any other backup using the same media.
I've tried adjusting the cogs on my V9 ps2, but that didn't help very much so I set them back.
I was wondering if anyone has a similar problem with this game....
Maybe ur got a bad batch of discs. It happens it happened to me recently. Try backuping up another game using the same pack blank discs and see what happens. Or try a different burning proggie.
