You need to use a cd/dvd loader to boot( v7all 5v3 no pn) you can download them at swapmagicfix.com or they could be in this forum if ya look...

You need to use CDLoader/DVDLoader becuase Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal has some sort of special boot procedure (multiple .elf files, etc.) that Swap Magic cannot handle by itself. When you use CDLoader/DVDLoader, you will always need to refresh the TOC with an original, pressed PS2 DVD. You may simply use the Swap Magic DVD as your TOC refresh disc for any game with a TOC size smaller than 4.35 GB.

Other question about it, I use cdloader (because I've a v4), in the swapmagicfix page indicates that there is to use "5v3 no PN", but the multiload (push x) of cdloader is empty, however the cdloaderv7all (I don't use that) has this option. It's incomplete my cdloader?

I use Swap Magic DVD (v1.1), works the fixes (cdloader ...) with this version?

Nope. Your CDLoader is fine. Older consoles (v1 through v6) will not need the "5v3 NO PN" option, so the CDLoader for them doesn't need the option. Just load it up without worrying about specific options.

The fixes and the data on SwapMagicFix.com were designed around Swap Magic 2.0, but I'd say that it should work even with your (really old?!?!) version 1.1.

Hello guys!

Question to ppl who useing sm 3.6, trilogy of ratchet & clank will work on sm 3.6 ? need any dvdloader's ? on sm 3.3, 1 part of ratchet and 2nd don't work, i'm must useing dvdloader ;/

Is some kind of tutorial or guide how to burn game with cdloader properly ?, i don't wanna all the time juggling with dvd's i wanna this #$@% loader with game, i have one game with cdloader on board is god of war and works on sm 2.0 no prob. but i've bought lately sm 3.3 and couple of game's needed dvdloader like splinter cell 2, baldur's gate 1,2 ... this is how i burn god of war with cdloader with this tutorial:

first place all files extracted from CDloader (with same order how in CDLoader), after put the GOW files extracted from the ISO game (also here with the same order in the original ISO) and finish putting all information on CD/DVD generator. That's all folks!


Works very fine. I tested with SM2 and PS2 v10. (extracted from an hold thread, I don't remember the autor name but thanks a lot to him ).


"here's how..

1. extract everything but system.cnf from cfn-gow.iso and put it in one folder.

2. get following files from cdloaderv7all and put them in the folder where you put all cfn-gow file.

system.cnf
msystem.cnf
scee_dd - this is a file folder
fifademo - this is a file folder
dummy.000
CDLOAD75.ELF

3. open up note pad and edit system.cnf look like this

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\CDLOAD75.ELF;1
VER = 1.00
VMODE = NTSC

4. open up note pad and edit msystem.cnf look like this

\God of War\cdrom0:\SCUS_973.99;1

5. create the iso image with cdvdgen and burn it on the disc.

i can confirm the game boots and play fine without cdloader on my v4 ps2 with sm 2.0~

credit goes to whoever invented this method and me who even bothered to waste his time on this"
