problems with me or swapmagic 3.3 - PS3 NEWS

Hi there,

Im new to the scene of backups

My question is, Ive got goldeneye and punisher original dvd games and others, and I have backed them up useing dvd-decrypter burnted on the lowest setting. when I boot these disks useing swap magic 3.3 the dvd goes red (bad burn) instead of blue but the funny thing is, the games loads fine, are fully playable and save,work ok. Please, Someone explain.

I am useing Verbatim Datalifeplus DVD-R media

normally goldeneye wouldn´t boot without to use cd loader, perhaps it is the new version from the swap disc

Mine 3.3 SM also turn red. but all backups play ok

Never figured it out why,,

just played great though !!!!

Using fujifilm 8x dvd-r's
burn on 1x from dvd decrypter
Over 5 sucessful on a V4 and none bad yet

The same here..so the color guide is a little cunfusing.

mine is the same.
it's always shown a quick flash of red but loads all games.

yep. mine goes red first and then the games work. I think that old color red/blue guide was for the old swap magic. The border of the screen would change color to give you a clue if the game was going to work. The only 2 games that I have not loaded successfully are Terminator the redemption and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. No amount of swapping , patching or large toc tricks will load them. And as the new games came out there seems to be no interest in getting them to work.

since nearly every title works and the sm is an easy fix, I can say they are worth the money. I play the games for more than an hour at a time so it isn't an inconvienence.

i have SM 3.3 and when i boot The Punisher it turns into a Black Screen.. ? need help please ;p lol

Get better media and/or use another write speed to record another backup. The Punisher is a simple burn'n'play title… nothing special needed.

I for one ,have never Managed to get FIFA Street on PS2 to Boot Using Swap Magic 3.3 and a Ver.7 PS2 even with all the Patches on this site, nothing Works on my System, just too Prove it, i have a Pile of over 10 DVD-R's as coasters, by the way DVD+R's don't work in my Machine, and also burned all Disc's at slowest Speed Possible, 1x on DVD Decrypter and on Alcohol 120% at 1x Speed..........?
