You need to rebuild the iso and then it will work perfect

When I rebuilt the .iso, SM told me that it wasn't a valid PS2 disc. What did I do wrong?

Either you didn't rebuild it correctly, or you're using media that your PS2 can't read.

I follwed the directions from a site. It told me how to rebuild the .iso with CDVDGEN and ISOBuster. I'm pretty confident that I followed it correctly. The rebuilt .iso is 1,445,936 kb. Does that sound right?

The only thing is that I used MSDOS instead of ISO Builder as I don't have a copy of it. And I used a DVD-RW that I've used in the past to test on my PS2. It worked then, so it should still be fine.

skttrbrain - i too used to use dvd-rw to test games, and it worked a couple times, but now my v8 ps2 with swap would read them, dunno why,just happened. reads movies on rw thou. just a thought, maybe take the plunge and try a -+r to see if it works if your confident in building it right.
