Champions: Return to Arms (USA) - PS3 NEWS

Hello Folks,
I downloaded the patch and I have the original game, I created an ISO and applied the patch with the ppf-o-matic3.
I checked it seens to be ok, but the Image size does not change a byte, when I burn it (low speed using good media), try to run with swapmagic 3.3 and does not go trough.
There is anyone that could help me, I made a search to see more information, but there is no topic saying how to apply this patch.
Any help will be great,

Try using SM2 disc if you have it i think i remember reading that the patch doesn't work with the SM 3.3 disc...Good luck

There is no patch needed to rip the game or burn it. If your using swap magic and need to patch then this thread should be in the 1:1 swap magic forum, and the patch is in the downloads section, but it seems this game's link to the patch is down....

If you mean THIS one, the patch download is working fine here with IE6.

I can boot it fine with SM3.3, but need DVDloader first (5v3 NO PN)

i tried the 5v3 and it didnt work =( and this is how i used the ppfomatic 3
1.i made the image of champions using dvd decrypter
2.i opened the ppfomatic 3 and located and confirmed the Return To Arms iso
3.then i downloaded the patch found here http://ps3news.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=102
4.and then i extracted the patch which is named DRK-CRFPFF and plugged it into the ppfomatic
5.clicked apply
6.burned the iso using nero at 4x

and the results are.....getting stuck at the green screen with the pink boarders =(

The patched version of Champions: Return to Arms has CDLoader built into it. You simply boot the backup disc with Swap Magic 2.0 DVD, and CDLoader will appear all by itself. Press X to go to the CDLoader menu, and select the entry to start the game. This process works fine on a v10 and a v5 using Swap Magic 2.0 DVD.

If you are using Swap Magic 3.3 or 3.6 Plus, you will need to boot CDLoader/DVDLoader, select the BETA 5v3 NO PN option (if available), then swap to an unpatched backup.

Hi Folks,
Well, with this last message I conclude that if anybody here is using the PS2 Slim line and swap magic 3.3 or 3.6 version, the backup game just will not work, because the CDloader/DVDloader does not work with the slim line because of the sensors, so We can not Refresh the TOC since the sensors are always deactivaded when We use the slim tool, ghost switch.
I remember that the only way is install an external switch to turn on/off the sensors, is the only way to do Refresh the TOC.
Well, we have to live with this now...

... and play and take care of the original disk).
