Action Replay and Swap Magic 3.6/3.8 - PS3 NEWS

Does Action Replay work with SM 3.6? I heard AR MAX discs don't work with SM 3.6. If not, how would you be able to play Ps1 backups without the Action Replay disc?

To boot Ps1 backups on a ps2/PsTwo/Ps1/PsOne u need a swapdisc like Breaker Pro v1.1 or a ps1 Gameshark disc.

To boot ps2 backups with cheats u can try this (dosnt always work tho'):

1. boot your ps2 Gameshark/Action Replay/CodeBreaker and select the cheats u want.
2. insert swapmagic disc (cd if cd-r backup or dvd if dvd+-r backup) when asked by GS/AR/CB and press key to load swapmagic.
3. swap in your backup (cd-r or dvd+-r)
4. press x ... and it boots with cheats

I'm a new member and I'm very bad in English, I come from France :tongue2 So im sorry. My question is about type of AR code which can be used with the SM 3.8 Coder . I don't know if I can use the AR Max code, the classical AR code or the Codreaker code. Thanks a lot for your attention and sorry if this question was already asked.

Yes you can use the the Ar Max codes but you have to convert them to the AR codes. There is a tool called Maxconvert v0.71. Check site utilities section to see if it is there if not do a search on the net for it. Its a very easy tool to use i have used it on Tomb Raider Legends and The Godfather anf both worked great... Yes, the swap magic does work and you can use it with a mod chip. If you don't put the swap disk in your ps2 runs like a regular ps2.

I have swap magic 3.6 and I wanna try to boot action reply to play a burn gaame. Do u know how can I run a burn game with cheats by using swap magic 3.6 and action reply max ?
