ducatis has a little shameless behaviour in the past
they didnt do usb2 for a reason, all the pheripals are able to run on usb 1.1. Also as mentioned above, you dont need any higher than 8mb cache, i would even settle for a 5400rpm, 2mb cache. much cheaper
