Try this is solved all my burning probs, and dres.
1. Dont use Nero, I know everyone insist on this, but ive found that it is too particular about burners, instead use Ultra ISO Media Edition, perfect burns everytime, and tested by me and several others on 12 kinds of burners, no probs at all. It even lets you burn at 2x on older burners such as the sony 500druA, that with Nero would only burn at 1x. Never had a coaster even with budget media.
2. Unless you have a powerhouse PC, turn off all uneeded proggys and processes while you are burning. I know this is obvious, but ocassionaly people forget.
3. Make sure your using the latest firmware with your burner.
