From what i have gathered is the only real problem ppl are having is after the update is downloaded when the console reboots (before the update even takes place) it boots to a black screen.
And reformatting the hdd has resolved the issue in all cases i have seen.
Makes me wonder if sony screwed up trying to add extra security to their update process.
