I've done sevral v12 installation for SM3.3.
but yesterday I had a huge prob.
after the magic switch install, it worked fine
but a day after, the laser stoped reading the disk.
I tried to figure out what was causing the problem.
The dvd was spining the beam was coming out of the laser pick up so I doubt that it would be the laser burn out.
after sevral fuse checkups I finally decided to excahnge its laser assembly with the working one.
and surprise!!! the PStwo is reading..
I thought SM3.3 doesn't cause the laser burnouts on PStwo's.
it never happened to me before, first time and now I'll never try to mod another PStwo again... there's too much risk to be taken,
