To quote: Later today, the next system software update for PlayStation 4 (version 1.51) will be available. With this minor required update, stability of system software has been improved.

In addition, minor refinements to elements of the system UI (such as clearly indicating when a user downloads a game and a game patch at the same time) have been introduced.

In the North American region, automatic downloads for system and game updates are enabled by default when PS4 is in stand-by mode. Once system software update 1.51 is available later tonight, your PS4 will automatically download it, enabling you to update quickly and easily.

It could be due in part to what EA stated (then removed) also about the PS4 1.50 update: According to Electronic Arts (via help.ea.com/article/sony-playstation-4-update-1-5-instability), the PS4's 1.50 firmware can cause a PS4 to malfunction.

To quote: "Sony has released a firmware update for the PlayStation 4 that is required for many features on the console. However, this update also results in stability issues while playing games on the system.

This affects all games on the PS4, including EA titles, causing crashing/freezing and non-responsive connections between the player's console and their TV Screen.

Unfortunately since it's an issue with Sony's firmware, it requires a new update to fix it. Sony is working to resolve the issue as quickly as they can. They will update their System Update page as new versions are made available, and we will keep this page updated as we find out more."

I think he is right about patching the holes on the PS4. Besides its basically is a PC in more now so there scared and rushing the update fast. Because come on really you think they didn't do any testing. Before bringing out a new console and not have everything tight.

They found holes at the last minute and are just covering it up, just think if a car manufacture did that we would have lots of cars on the
street broken waiting for a fix lol... People believe them and forgot what they did with the PS3 update removing otherOS and more, yeah

Updates more like taking away something you just purchased and they just stole it from under your noses while you was sleeping lol.

We must Install Update 1.5 then 1.51? or Install Update 1.51 is enough and have all Features of 1.5?

You just need 1.51. All firmware updates include the full system software, plus whatever updates are added. So you just need to install the latest update.
