    SCEA Marketing Manager Asad Qizilbash has unveiled the Uncharted 3 PS3 TV Spot video today along with Stories In The Sand for fans.

    To quote: Tonight marks the beginning of our advertising campaign for UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception.

    I'm really excited to get to share with you loyal readers a special sneak peek at our first television spot for the campaign that will "kick off" tonight.

    And where exactly would be the best place for a kick-off? Well, how about during the 2011 NFL Kickoff game tonight between the Packers and Saints? This UNCHARTED 3 spot was created 100% from in-game footage - what do you think? Be sure to let us know in the comments.





    We have a lot of great things lined up for UNCHARTED 3, and this is just the beginning. Look for this spot to air tonight with the kick-off game, and also with your favorite shows including the season premiere of the Simpsons and many more!

    Uncharted Stories In The Sand

    My name's Natalya Netselya and I'm an artist specialising in the medium of sand. I've been creating imagery in sand for almost five years now, but this is the first time I've created a piece inspired by a videogame.

    As Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception takes place in the Arabian desert, it provided the perfect backdrop for my sand art. It was fun for me to recreate an iconic character like Nathan Drake in some of the amazing settings from the latest game.





    I'm sure you'll recognise some familiar sights from Uncharted 3, and I hope you enjoy watching me bring them to life in sand.

    Uncharted 1 and 2 are very similar games. I hope Uncharted 3 is different (In a good way).

    Hopefully Uncharted 3 will have some anti aliasing. I found it to be quite ridiculous that they went out of their way to put in advanced effects such as SSAO but didn't seem to use any AA at all previously, they just left everything jaggy. Better yet, if they have to choose one thing or the other they should put the choice in the options menu and let the user decide. The only game which I can think of which did that is Tekken 6 and that doesn't say enabling one thing disables the other... oh well, at least the choice is there.
