    Video: EA's Battlefield 3 for PlayStation 3 from E3 2011

Electronic Arts Community Coordinator Eduardo Vasconcellos has made available some video footage today from E3 2011 showcasing Battlefield 3 for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

To quote: DICE's http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield3 had an incredible showing at last week's E3, racking up over http://blogs.battlefield.ea.com/battlefield_bad_company/archive/2011/06/11/highlights-of-the-week-june-10.aspx##. But for many shooter fans, one question remained - "Where's the console version?"

Well, tonight those questions are answered as DICE's own Johan Dohl stops by http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/ to give Jimmy the first hands on with Battlefield 3 for PS3.

Be sure to set those TIVO's, and for more information on Battlefield 3 be sure to watch our interview with Patrick Bach, Executive Producer on Battlefield 3 below.

One more thing! If you missed the news at PlayStation's E3 2011 Press Conference, the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 will include the full version of Battlefield 1943 on the Blu-ray disc - an exclusive bonus just for PS3 owners.

M8 where the hell does PS3 uses DirectX ?! from what alter-universe are u from?!

PS3 is not outdated, game developers sometimes are when coding on the PS3... That's a huge difference.

Check Uncharted/Metal Gear, etc.. Tell me if it feels outdated...

Outdated are PC's they have a Lifespan of more or less 6 months... Selling Pieces is their Biz... and for Money Vs Lifespan.. Gimme another Ps3 please...

PC's are for Work! nothin' more... PC Gamers are Spoiled brats playin' with daddy's money...

PS3 Developers use the DirectX 9.0c API when developing games as the GPU isn't compliant with all DirectX10+ features
GPU is based on a Geforce 7800, in PC terms that's ancient (PS3 is 5-6 years old now btw)

In terms of pure graphics potential a high end gaming PC will always beat any console even on day of release since consoles are always built with existing tech
Rant all you want it's a fact of life
