A new Netflix survey is making the rounds on the Internet; this time it features questions on PS3 support.
Will Netflix be making its way to Sony's PlayStation 3 console after all?
To quote: A survey from Netflix hints at the potential future of the Netflix service, including PlayStation 3 support.
With the one-year anniversary of Netflix's appearance on the XBOX 360 approaching, it's entirely possible that the movie and TV rental service is looking to branch out into other platforms to ensure total domination of gamers' living rooms.
However, there is one interesting bit of information in this survey; unlike the 360's built-in Netflix streaming, though, this potential PS3 streaming requires a Netflix Instant Streaming Disc to work.
This would insinuate that Netflix support would not be built directly into the PS3's firmware like it is on 360, but rather supported through an outside application.
Considering the fact that the PS3 supported Hulu until just a week ago, however, it's always possible that this could change.
