Sony PS Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe announced that the next PSP and PS Vita sale starts today on PlayStation Network.

To quote: It's been quite a ride so far as we have worked our way through the consoles that have made the PlayStation brand a global phenomenon.

But our story would not be complete without taking a look at our handheld platforms. The PSP revolutionized portable gaming with amazing screen, robust multimedia capabilities and connectivity with our other Sony platforms. But what we all really love are games, and the PSP produced some real classics.

Our very own God of War: Chains of Olympus tops it for me but how can we forget Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, WipEout Pure and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. What a great library.

That brings us to our latest console, the PS Vita. Now in terms of lifespan, PS Vita is just a youngster, so what we want to know from you is what your best moments with it have been so far? This magical piece of kit is here to stay and it's only going to get better with the PS4!

Personally I love playing FIFA 13 on its crystal clear screen; it passes the time brilliantly on my journey to and from PlayStation HQ every day. I am also eagerly awaiting the release of Tearaway in November which will really show the power of this console.

To celebrate our handheld platforms we have arranged a few discounts off some classic titles - and check back in two weeks' time when we will add a few more! Don't forget to share your memories!
