Sony officially announce price cut for some PS3 games

According to French Web site Jeux-France, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has re-examined the price of some of its older PlayStation 3 titles.

Apparently the following titles will now cost 40 Euros: Resistance: Fall of Man, Lair, Folklore, One Championship Edition Formulated, MotorStorm, Ridge Racer 7, Heavenly Sword and Genji.

However, it seems the games have been available at online retailers such as 'game' at this price for some time.

Thats cool. I'll probably pick up Folklore as soon as this comes over to the U.S.

I've seen Folklore for sale at EBGames for 26.99 used. Game is great, especially at that price.

In South Africa Motorstorm R599 which is the same price as the latest titles. It's very sad. Thankfully, there's a thriving 2nd-hand trading market.
