Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has began to register many new trademarks for US Patent and Trademark Office called Ember, SkyBlue, Carriage Return, and Race Day.

These new trademarks are going to be for new products which some believe could have an impact on either the PS3 or PSP in some way shape or form. These trademarks go hand in hand with the number of other products which went through the same process prior to release such as the games Snakeball, Operation Creature Feature, and others for the PlayStation Network and PlayStation Eye.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan added a new trademark called the Broadcasting Engine. It is believes that this is an effort by Sony to try and connect consumer products such as cell phones to the PS3 and PSP through the PlayStation Network.
