Sony confirms new PlayStation Store won't be region locked
SCEA has confirmed that there will be no changes to the PlayStation Store as part of its revamp in relation to region locking.
So just like before, users with a number of accounts relating to different regions will not be locked out of those PlayStation stores.

What he mean is now every person with a US account can access the Japanese store without the need of a Japanese PSN account and vice versa with the Japanese and our Europeans friends ^__^ ... I think.
I am not sure about that.
I think this was said for relief purposes as people like myself have imported consoles and use our regional PSN usernames to access the PS Store or have more worldwide usernames and because it was brought up that the PS Store will be OS Based, it has led to speculation that it would lock to your console's regional store.
