Sony to Change US PlayStation Store Updates to Tuesdays

Just under a month ago it was announced that the weekly European PSN updates are changing to Wednesdays, and today PSNStores.com (linked above) discovered from the Pulse 4/15 Edition that US PSN updates are also moving to Tuesdays.

To quote: "Starting this May, the 4th to be exact, the US PlayStation Store will be updated on Tuesdays.

The news was dropped in the April 15th Edition of Pulse. We heard rumblings that the EU store would be moving to Wednesdays, but I am fine with Tuesdays here in the USA."

In summary, this means that beginning on May 4, 2010 the US PSN update will arrive on Tuesdays, and starting on May 5, 2010 the EU PSN update will arrive on Wednesdays.

Make sure when you do, you submit it and go through all the steps... perhaps we missed the submission or it didn't submit all the way (the system is still a WIP) but in any case THANKS for the effort spark32!

I'm very glad of this.

I play Rock Band 2 quite a bit (500+ dlc songs), and I'm so sick of seeing commercials of new dlc songs that are "available" (but only to 360 owners), and I have to wait an additional 2 days for the PSN to update with them.

This levels the playing field at least with this game.

Why are they changing the update day? Conflict with the developers? Users angry? Why Sony never explain things!!
