Today Sony Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Social Media Patrick Seybold has announced news of PlayStation Network scheduled maintenance tomorrow- Thursday, August 11, 2011.

To quote: PlayStation Network is scheduled to undergo routine maintenance tomorrow, August 11th, from about 8am until approximately 7pm Pacific Time.

During this time, registration and Account Management will be inaccessible, including the password reset process.

While some users may experience difficulty signing into PSN and the PlayStation Store, the majority of users will be able to play online as well as sign in to external sites that require PSN authentication (like this one).

Stay tuned to the [Register or Login to view links] for updates and a notice when maintenance has concluded.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yep, as usual with the recent PS3 Firmware 3.7 Update users on the previous 3.66 Firmware are currently able to get online again via the old PSN Proxy Bypass Methods.

Of course in a week or so this will go away again, and since most CFW users aren't on 3.66 it doesn't help much.

Wasn't there just an Proxy available, which you can use without doing something on your Computer, just entering the IP and subnet mask ?
