    Sony Announces Free PS3 Downloads Coming to PlayStation Plus


    Sony PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has announced today that free PS3 and PSP downloads are coming to PlayStation Plus, including Bloons, Burn Zombie Burn, and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.

    To quote: The fall season is notoriously known as a busy time for gamers. With games like http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/ and http://www.spartansstandtall.com/?United%20States releasing in the next month, PlayStation Plus gives gamers an opportunity to revisit some other PlayStation classics. Check out the upcoming items below and happy gaming!

    PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive free downloads for Bloons, the highly addictive flash game turned minis, http://www.burnzombieburn.com/ and http://www.oddworld.com/games/ow_abeodd.shtml.

    Finally, any PlayStation Home visitors looking for PlayStation Plus items? After you have downloaded Burn Zombie Burn, be sure to check out the free Burn Zombie Burn Home item.

    As always, a quick friendly reminder to check out the free downloads of Echoes - minis, Zen Pinball, and http://www.syphon-filter3.com/, which will be pulled off of the PlayStation Plus section on October 19.

    I'd be willing to bet that this is the one thing Sony can think of to give pirates an incentive to upgrade their console. Eh?

    I was thinking the same thing...

    Considering they can probably look at the active members and see the only 1/3 are still playing online. The rest jail-broke their systems haha.
