Wow this is great .. I'll be finally able to see what others are getting (everyone can make a uk account).. too bad we cannot use it for useful things... demos an videos in the future!
This is getting a little old... new services are launched for the big markets while small countries are still waiting for basic services like a PSN store. On the other hand... I'm still thankful that we have PSN access for multiplayer games... well that was kinda of a no brainer, probably I would not have bought a PS3 if it wasn't for that option.
Well with a PS2 life span of close to 10 years.. we have another 6 years ahead of us to wait for it...
p.s. What happened to the "Reputation" section of the UCP? and how come all my thread subscriptions died? (massive server update?)
Yep, we periodically purge Profile Messages, Subscriptions, etc for all users to conserve space and make database back-ups faster. As it is they take over 30 minutes each which is both time and bandwidth consuming as they are quite large.
Around the time we terminated the chatbox the UCP Reps were disabled along with the "gems" (among other things) showing on the Forums... only a Rep number shows in posts now. Since neutering these things, the site navigation speed has improved a bit so I am not sure how soon they will return but there is always a chance down the road.
