Rumor: Improvements to the PS3 Web Browser Coming in April?

Some of you might of heard of Trend Micro... it's a useful tool you can use from keeping underaged children from going to explicit Web sites in the PlayStation 3's Web browser.

This image (below) says that the service will remain free until April 30th of this year.

Does Sony expect people to actually pay for this service for those that want to keep harmful Web sites away from children? Or will they include it with something else like a brand new Web browser?

Sony http://kotaku.com/5187660/what-is-sony-announcing-on-tuesday said they're bring something big this coming Tuesday. Could it be linked to this? Or is it something completely different? Feel free to comment below!

It seems to me that in recent updates the PS3 web browser has gotten more compatible than it used to be. Not talking about flash - it seems like the PS3 does a much better job of rendering/executing/applying HTML/JavaScript/CSS than it used to - I have not noticed a site that looked bad in a while through my light usage of it.

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing Sony swap out NetFront for something with a WebKit-based engine. A truly first class web browser with flash support would be a great selling point for the PS3.

How many people actually use the Trend Micro security for the webbrowser?, I personally like my pornography uncensored and unblocked , so personally I do not use it and never will use it.
