PixelJunk Shooters is one of the most anticipated remaining PlayStation 3 games waiting to be released before the end of the year.

The PlayStation Network exclusive title looks like it would just sneak into the 2009 release calendar.

Dylan Cuthbert, the President and Managing Director of Q-Games, posted the following comments on his personal http://twitter.com/dylancuthbert page, to quote:

"all I can say is we're aiming for Dec. 24th in Japan"

Christmas Eve seems like an interesting release frame since most of the holiday shopping done from consumers are already completed. Even so, PixelJunk Shooters is shaping up to be another hit game in the popular PixelJunk series.
