NEED HELP! Yellow Dog Linux 5.02

Okay, I just installed Yellow Dog Linux on my PS3. Everything installed correctly, so i agreed to reboot. When i rebooted it ejected the disc and went back to the black kboot screen. I saw it mount all the things for it. Then it just went black... the orange HDD indicator kept blinking though, so it must have been doing something. Also, my TV lost signal from the AV cables.

Anybody know what's goin on here? Any help will be highly appreciated.
